Approaching cultural value as a complex system: experiencing the arts and articulating the city in Leeds

An AHRC Research Development Award for the Cultural Value Project

Working with a range of partner institutions and a ‘spotlight’ focus on mental health in the city, explored through the LoveArts Festival, the project approach was one of an emergent language of co-production of thinking ‘with’. It asked us to consider ways of knowing and how best to develop a fuller sense of the ways in which participation in the arts and culture are important to people.
